Stephen Peterson a.k.a. Lawdog President

Stephen’s appreciation for the graphic arts market began shortly after college. Leaving his beloved mountains he moved to Minneapolis and began representing various plastic manufacturers of different materials and processes selling them to the OEM and print marketplace. Within a couple of years his focus became graphic arts. For most of the last 25 years, Stephen has sold almost every type of plastic or plastic process into the various Print Markets. Ten years ago, he saw a need for new and innovative types of print media and founded Xcel. To this day he continues to build a best in class team and portfolio of media solutions. One of the highlights of his career has been, being fortunate enough to work directly with some of the largest brand owners in the Country. Stephen claims he's honed his business and negotiating skills by living with four women; his wife and three daughters!

Clay Reierson a.k.a. Shooter Director of Operations

After 25 years in the graphics industry, you'd think I'd be an old man. I don't feel old, expect for Mondays in the long and cold Minnesota winters. I started working in a sign shop out of high school and have also worked for a couple graphics distributors before landing at Xcel. I've seen a lot of growth in the past 8 years and Xcel is still growing. Some of my duties today include product development, product support/training/design and even marketing. I'll do whatever it takes, really and I'm always up for a round of golf.

James Richard Noss a.k.a. Rick In-Store Solution Specialist

I spent over 25 years successfully climbing the corporate ladder before voluntarily leaving to do something where I was back connected with the client, creativity, innovation, and real problem solving. I’m very comfortable strategizing in a board room or working on a shop floor, and I think that effective listening is one of the utmost skill sets in business and life.

Nicole Gregory a.k.a. Colie (Never Nicki) Inside Sales Manager

Nicole came to Xcel with over 10 years of large format and digital printing Account Management experience with a large POP printer in the Twin Cities.  It was there that she fine-tuned her customer service skills and managed some of their largest accounts.  Nicole then went on to dabble in the Sporting and Accessories world in Project Management and even took some time before coming to Xcel to be a stay at home mom.  When not at work, Nicole fills her time with her two littles and husband; riding bikes, fishing at the cabin, going to the park, backyard water park days, seeing movies, playing SuperCribbage and if time permits, reading a good book.

Years later at the same company I was a Production Manager supervising 32 people, including prepress employees, press operators and bindery personnel. While visiting customers, the scent of a Printing Plant brings back memories of years past.
